With products sold in more than 150 countries, Castrol has helped keep things moving onroads and racetracks, air, sea, and space for over 125 years. \nWhether you're just starting out or ready for your next big move, you're in the right place to explore an exciting career with Castrol.\nJob description\nAbout the team:\nAs the Brand & Product Lead for Castrol Activ, you will shape the growth of the brand, with end-to-end responsibility across brand, product portfolio and commercial performance. \nYou will work closely with Sales, Product, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Insights and regional/global Marketing teams to translate consumer and market opportunities into winning brand and product plans. \nOn the product side, you will lead the Activ portfolio across its lifecycle, identifying opportunities for innovation and portfolio optimization. You will balance consumer needs, competitive positioning, pricing, cost and gross margin considerations to build a stronger and more future-ready portfolio. \nOn the brand side, you will shape and innovate the brand in line with evolving trends and consumer needs, translating the brand proposition into compelling campaigns and activation across ATL, digital, BTL and other consumer touchpoints. \nOverall, the role combines brand building, portfolio strategy, commercial ownership and execution to drive the next phase of growth for Castrol Activ.\nKey tasks:\nOwn the business and financial performance of Castrol Activ, delivering targeted volume, revenue and gross margin objectives. \nLead the Activ portfolio across both bikesand scooterengine oils, defining the role and growth agenda for the portfolio. \nDevelop and execute the brand and portfolio strategy, balancing near-term business priorities with long-term growth opportunities. \nLead the product lifecycle, innovation and portfolio optimization, responding to evolving consumer needs, market trends and OEM developments. \nInnovate and strengthen the Activ brand in line with emerging consumer and category trends, ensuring continued relevance and differentiation. \nDrive market share and brand equity performance, usingconsumer insights and other relevant marketand brand healthindicators to identify opportunities and actions. \nLead the development and execution of integrated brand communication across ATL, digital, media, BTL and consumer activation. \nPartner closely with Sales and ChannelMarketing to translate brand and portfolio strategy into strong regional, channel and in-market execution. \nLead key product development and commercialization processes, working cross-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance and other stakeholders. \nOwn ASP investment planning and effectiveness, including budget allocation, expenditure tracking and measurement of returns. \nLead relationships with creative, media, research and other agency partners, ensuring high-quality execution against brand and business objectives. \nExperience required:\nUniversity degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification desirable. \nMinimum 6 years of relevant Sales and/or Marketing experience, ideally covering brand, product or portfolio management. \nDemonstrated experience in brand strategy, portfolio management, innovation and commercialization. \nStrong understanding of integrated marketing communications across traditional and digital channels. \nStrong commercial orientation, with the ability to connect consumer and brand strategy with volume, pricing, margin and business performance. \nProven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders. \nPrivacy\nThe Castrol entity recruiting for this role is the data controller for the personal information you provide.
