Manage the maintenance activities to meet ‘manufacturing specification’ machine run efficiency, to optimize machine availability to production and minimize machine related downtime incurred in the production of lubricants. To manage project related engineering activities and ensure HSSE compliance in both installation and commissioning.\nKey Tasks\nProvide input into the Plant Business Plan, which includes Capex, Revex, training needs, head count, unit cost, Return on Assets.\nResponsible for attainment of manufacturing unit cost within plan. \nProvide input into setting the key performance indicator targets, which includes customer responsiveness (CR), machine utilization, productivity on the line, machine run efficiency, downtime, response time, safety, cost control.\nAccountable for the attainment of production and maintenance KPIs.\nCommunication set targets for maintenance staff as appropriate.\nTo meet the CR objective and sales requirement in compliance with ISO standard.\nTo minimize machine downtime and lost machine run efficiency to meet KPI targets. Ensure conformance to the ‘lost capacity/downtime’ management systems for investigation, action and reporting requirements.\nTo meet ‘response time’s agreed targets as an internal customer service indicator.\nEnsure that all personnel conform to HSSE regulation.\nPrepare and coordinate the annual PM and Calibration annual master plan.\nWith the assistance of the Production Manager, be responsible for the planning and execution of planned maintenance to ensure machine availability as per the Weekly Production Schedule.\nUndertake preliminary engineering investigations and actions.\nContinuous improvement of machine uptime efficiency and line crewing productivity, in the production area, including the assigning and following up of solutions to non-conformances.\nEnsure the completion of work instructions and procedures as required. Review, sign off and liase with QA to ensure documentation of work instructions and procedures meet ISO standard.\nProvide Production with online/machine Operator procedures and trouble-shooting guides, as required.\nTrain and audit line/machine Operators in the performance of basic preventative maintenance work.\nProvide technical expertise with the Plant in relation to new equipment, training and legalities.\nExperience Required\n7 years of experience in plant maintenance\nPlant Control System knowledge\nSelf-motivated and strong leadership skill\nProcess instrumentation and control knowledge\nHSSE standard knowledge.\nPrivacy\nThe Castrol entity recruiting for this role is the data controller for the personal information you provide.
