With products sold in more than 150 countries, Castrol has helped keep things moving onroads and racetracks, air, sea, and space for over 125 years. \nWhether you're just starting out or ready for your next big move, you're in the right place to explore an exciting career with Castrol.\nJob description\nJob Purpose\nThe C4C Deployment Manager leads China-for-China competitiveness initiatives from idea shaping to deployment and value realization, working cross-functionally to deliver sustainable COGS savings while protecting quality, compliance and supply resilience.\nKey Accountabilities\nLead C4C deployment projects across formulation, base oil, additive, packaging, supplier and network-related competitiveness opportunities.\nConvert pipeline ideas into executable deployment plans with clear scope, milestones, owners, risks, benefits and governance requirements.\nCoordinate cross-functional execution with Technology, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and Marketing to resolve trade-offs and unblock delivery.\nBuild and refresh business cases, covering cost baseline, savings logic, technical cost, OTC needs, volume assumptions, timing and value phasing.\nDrive dynamic cost management by tracking cost movements, supply constraints and market changes, and adjusting priorities to protect value delivery.\nManage project governance, progress tracking, leadership updates and timely escalation through C4C core team and steering forums.\nSupport technical and commercial readiness, including supplier qualification, formulation sign-off, gate inputs, plant trials, BOM updates and launch preparation.\nMonitor post-launch value delivery and ensure benefits are validated, sustained and reflected in dashboards and financial reporting.\nSupport master database maintenance for product, formulation and cost information to ensure accurate, timely and reliable project analysis.\nSummary Decision Rights\nMake recommendations on C4C deployment priorities, project sequencing, implementation approach and escalation needs within agreed governance and delegation of authority.\nThe role is accountable for coordinating execution and providing fact-based options, while final technical, commercial and business approvals remain with the respective accountable functions and governance forums.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in science or engineering; technical background in lubricants is preferred\nLanguages: English - Fluent\n5+ years of experience in project management, supply chain, technology deployment, procurement, product development or manufacturing-related roles.\nStrong understanding of product cost drivers, COGS improvement levers, supply chain execution and cross-functional project delivery with multiple interdependencies.\nStrong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare concise business cases and leadership updates.\nPrivacy\nThe Castrol entity recruiting for this role is the data controller for the personal information you provide.
