The team supports customers across key industrial segments including steel, automotive, bearing manufacturing, metalworking, and general engineering industries, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, and customer operations teams to deliver measurable business value and operational excellence.\nKey Tasks\nProvide technical expertise and field-based engineering support to customers and the Sales team across industrial lubricant and metalworking fluid applications.\nEvaluate customer manufacturing processes, identify performance improvement opportunities, and develop value-based solutions that support new business acquisition and retention.\nConduct product trials, technical assessments, and competitive benchmarking activities to support successful product conversions and competitive displacement opportunities.\nDevelop technical business cases, value-selling proposals, and quantify cost-saving recommendations for customers.\nPerform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for lubrication and metalworking fluid-related challenges, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.\nCreate and document customer success stories, case studies, and technical value demonstrations to support business growth initiatives.\nDeliver technical training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions for customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support product implementation, application optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.\nExperience Required\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nProven experience in industrial lubricants, greases, high-performance lubricants, metalworking fluids, or technical services within the manufacturing or industrial sector.\nStrong knowledge of industrial lubricant technologies, including hydraulic oils, gear oils, greases, rust preventives, specialty lubricants, soluble oils, and neat cutting oils.\nExperience supporting industrial applications such as steel plants, rolling mills, TMT manufacturing, bearing manufacturing, automotive components, metal cutting, metal forming, or general engineering operations.\nAbility to conduct technical assessments, troubleshoot application issues, and perform root cause analysis in customer environments.\nExperience supporting product trials, implementations, and technical customer engagements.\nStrong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both technical and commercial audiences.\nWillingness to travel extensively within the assigned region to support customers and business growth objectives.\nPrivacy\nThe Castrol entity recruiting for this role is the data controller for the personal information you provide.
