This person will be an active member of a project team which delivers innovative solutions in a timely manner. This candidate will be responsible for developing and testing programs with emphasis on speed, accuracy, efficiencies, compliance, and flexibility. Additionally, they will be responsible for addressing production issues in a timely manner. They will participate in analysis, design, testing, training and implementation phases for WMS and related logistics projects. Must have robust functional and technical understanding of Warehouse operations, processes and data flow with host systems.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nDevelop, maintain and support in-house custom applications\nAddress production issues in a timely manner\nCollaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications\nDevelop, maintain and support in-house custom applications\nFollow the required system development life cycle\nAbility to work independently or within a defined project team\nAbility to take direction from senior technical staff\nAbility to interact with all levels of management\nStrong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills\nOff hours support as needed to support system issues\nPosition Requirements:\n5-8 years of WMS Application Development experience with PKMS or equivalent WMS applications\nRetail Industry experience preferred\nBA/BS degree is required - Or the equivalent in work experience\nMicrosoft SQL Server, Java, XML, JSON, SQL, DTS/SSIS, and Stored Procedures\nMicrosoft Access, RPGLE, CL, DDS, Python, Visual Basic, C#\nAS/400 (iSeries) knowledge\nExperience with any of the following a plus: SDI Material Sorter HMIs, Loftware Nicelabel, Cybra Mark Magic.\nGreat verbal and written communication skills\nStrong technical skills\nEffective time management and organization skills\nExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nAdhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration.
