We're looking for a Cardiac Stress Technician who is a self-starter and enjoys being on the go.\nJoin our team, get a consistent schedule, and say goodbye to working weekends, holiday shifts, and being constantly on-call.\nThe DIS Difference\nNo nights or weekends!\nCompetitive pay and benefits package\nNo on-call or holiday shifts\nWork independently\nYou're a great fit if. . .\nYou are a top-notch Paramedic or LPN looking for a career change.\nYou are a good communicator who cares about their patients.\nYou enjoy working autonomously.\nYou like a dynamic, growing work environment.\nSchedule: Monday - Friday, Daylight Shift\nResponsibilities\nPreparation of patients for cardiac stress testing procedure.\nAssess patient vital signs.\nEstablish I.V. access using aseptic technique.\nSet up and monitor patient through treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing including application monitoring of 12 lead EKG and patient symptoms. \nPreparation of pharmacological stress agents, dose calculation and administration.\nEnsure patient safety and provide high quality testing.\nAccurately document patient test results and patient medical history using online PACS system. Additional administrative documentation may be required. \nInitiate BLS and ACLS algorithms to manage patient symptoms in the event of an emergency, under physician supervision.\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to providing consistent and excellent customer service and patient care at all times.\nTravel to client sites as scheduled. Driving company van and following Radiation Safety and DOT regulations for purpose of transporting equipment, medical supplies, radioactive material, and staff to customer site (training provided).\nAdditional responsibilities as assigned. \nMinimum Qualifications\nActive Paramedic License OR Licensed Practical Nurse License\nCompletion of an accredited emergency care, paramedicine, or nursing program\nActive BLS and ACLS Certification\nMinimum of 1 year of experience with 12-Lead EKG Placement and interpretation of rhythms; I.V. insertion\nAbility to push/pull heavy medical equipment as a team\nAbility to assist patients on and off the camera\nValid Driver’s License\nWorking Conditions:\nWork is performed at outpatient imaging centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician offices with moderate to high patient volume.
