The operation continues to expand underground, with several mining areas successfully transitioning from development into production.\nCatalyst is committed to building a sustainable, long-life gold business, underpinned by disciplined technical planning, operational excellence, and a focus on continuous improvement.\nListed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: CYL), Catalyst Metals is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from people who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.\nThe Role\nAs Catalyst Metals continues to grow and expand its operations, exciting opportunities have become available within our Processing team.\nReporting to the Process Supervisor and working an 8:6 / 7:7 roster, the Process Technician is responsible for safely operating and optimising key areas of the processing plant, including Crushing, Milling, Leaching (CIL), Control Room and Elution, to maximise plant performance and gold recovery.\nWorking closely with the Maintenance and Laboratory teams, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the processing plant. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, take on new challenges and be part of a growing operation.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely operate and monitor Crushing, Milling and Elution circuits\nConduct operational inspections and report plant issues and process variances\nWork closely with Maintenance to support plant reliability and planned maintenance activities\nComplete operational reporting and effective shift handovers\nFollow daily instructions from the Process Supervisor\nMaintain housekeeping standards across designated plant areas\nEnsure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures and systems\nRequirements\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nExperience in a similar processing role, Elution and Control room highly regarded\nCurrent LF High Risk Licence\nCurrent WA C Class Driver's Licence\nExperience in gold processing plant operations\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal\nAbility to work autonomously and as part of a team\nStrong commitment to workplace safety\nBenefits\nWhy Catalyst?\nPermanent full-time position\nPrivate Health Cover for employees\nQuarterly Bonus Scheme\nBe part of the major projects occurring in the Process Plant through 2027 including Process Control, SCADA, Sandvik crusher upgrades and a host of ongoing project work in various stages of development\nSmall, friendly team environment\nDeparting from Perth, you'll fly directly to Plutonic, arriving within 90 minutes of departure.
