This is a hands-on environment where data quality, geological interpretation and real-time decision-making genuinely matter.\nCatalyst Metals Limited is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX code: CYL).\nThe Role\nReporting to the Senior Underground Geologist, the Underground Project Geologist is responsible for the following:\nOwn, coordinate and execute all geology Grade Control modelling and assist with related drilling activities in a proactive, efficient and timely manner. \nProvide ongoing mentorship and coaching to the Underground Mine Geologists and Underground Geology Technicians.\nContribute to short, medium and long-term (LOM) mine plans and schedules to ensure the development of optimised mine plans.\nMonitor face and drill sample and assay quality, follow up QAQC issues.\nRequirements\nIdeal candidates will have:\nBachelor of Science, majoring in Geology\nCurrent \"C\" Class Western Australian Drivers License - manual license is preferred. \nMinimum 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry.\nExperience in an underground production role and basic resource modelling is essential.\nComputer literacy - 3D Modelling Software such as Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac and Microsoft Office, Logging software, GIS packages.\nDemonstrate ability to maintain or exceed best industry practice in all geological and environmental tasks.\nBenefits\nWhy Catalyst?\nFIFO isn’t for everyone - it requires commitment and time away from home.
