You’ll develop backend services and frontend features that help football clubs explore our data, evaluate players and teams, and analyse performance. Your work will span data-rich interfaces, interactive visualisations, integrated video tools, and workflows that support scouting and match analysis. Working closely with Product and fellow engineers, you’ll translate customer needs into intuitive, reliable applications and help improve their performance and scalability as our platform grows. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll contribute to technical decisions and take ownership of features from initial design through to delivery, shaping the products our customers use every day.\nWe believe that our customers deserve to have the leading technology, and we are on a mission to make the best possible products to enhance their performance. Our engineers drive this ethos by making sure all of this technology comes together in a way our customers love to use.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO \nContribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.\nBuild and maintain Angular web applications\nBuild and maintain Java Spring Boot APIs and backend services that power our applications\nDesign and implement database schema\nProfile and optimize query performance in backend applications\nEngage in architectural discussions to help design scalable and resilient systems.\nWork directly with Product and Design on scoping and designing features\nWork in multidisciplinary teams and interface with other engineers in our team and across various domains.\nDocument your work in a shared knowledge base platform.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED\nAt least 5 years of software development experience.\nDemonstrated experience programming in Typescript, Javascript, and Angular\nDemonstrated experience programming in Kotlin Java.\nDemonstrated experience working in SQL and designing database schema\nAbility to reason about and debug complex systems and applications\nExperience with Git code management is highly desired.\nOther Requirements:\nVery strong attention to detail.\nProven self-starter.\nAbility to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.\nAbility to prioritise and a “can-do” attitude.\nOccasionally providing technical assistance to our customer support team\nWHY CATAPULT? \nWe have amazing people.
