To build the right solutions, you need to understand how clients use the platform, where they run into challenges, and which problems matter most.\nFor your first three months, you’ll work closely with our client support team, helping with onboarding, demos, and day-to-day client queries. This will give you a deep understanding of the product, our clients, and how the platform is used in practice. After that, you’ll move full-time into product and engineering; day-to-day support stays with the support team.\nYou’ll also be hands-on in our Python/Django codebase, shipping bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features informed by what you’re learning from clients. As your domain knowledge grows, you’ll take on increasing ownership of product decisions, roadmap priorities, and longer-term technical direction.\nThis is a unique opportunity to work across the full stack of a software business: understanding client needs, shaping product direction, designing practical solutions, and shipping the code that delivers them. You’ll work directly with the founders and senior team members.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngage directly with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and how they use the platform\nSupport client onboarding, demos, and day-to-day queries to build a strong understanding of real-world use cases\nTranslate client requirements into clear product specifications and practical solutions\nContribute to product design, ensuring features are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with client needs\nDevelop and maintain the platform, including bug fixes, enhancements, and new features (Python/Django)\nWork across both client and technical contexts to inform product decisions and prioritisation\nCollaborate with the wider team to continuously improve the product and client experience\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nMinimum criteria to qualify:\nUniversity degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics (or applied mathematics), finance, or a related field\nExperience with Python\nExperience with web development\nComfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, Cursor, or similar\nQualities required by the candidate:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving ability with the ability to learn quickly\nExcellent communication skills with confidence in client-facing interactions\nInterest in both the business and technical aspects of software\nSelf-motivated and a self-starter\nNice to haves:\nExposure to accounting, finance, or lease management\n70% or higher academic average\nExperience in client-facing
