The role includes working within Agile sprints, writing and executing detailed test cases, contributing to automated testing, and producing user documentation after successful testing.\nYOUR CHALLENGE:\nConduct functional, UI/UX, and performance testing for WordPress websites.\nTest website responsiveness across different devices and browsers.\nIdentify bugs, layout inconsistencies, and broken elements in themes, plugins, and custom code.\nEnsure SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals are met.\nVerify website security, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards.\nDocument test cases, issues, and improvements.\nTrack bugs and issues using tools such as Jira, ensuring thorough reporting and follow-up.\nCollaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.\nWork on multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards and test coverage.\nTO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:\nExperience testing WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.\nStrong understanding of cross-browser and responsive testing.\nFamiliarity with website performance tools.\nBasic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP (a plus).\nExperience with testing tools like Lighthouse, or WP debugging tools.\nStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.\nHigh attention to detail with the ability to spot issues of all levels, including trivial issues that most people would overlook; attention for best web practices.\nSolid understanding of QA methodologies, and Agile development processes.\nExperience writing clear and organized manual test cases and documentation.\nStrong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.\nGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.\nComfortable working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines.\nWant to help build the future of Catena Media?
