In this role, you are accountable for the coordination of material, equipment, manpower, quality and meeting production schedules and customer satisfaction. Major responsibilities include directing the work of others, problem solving and resolution and coordination with support departments including off shifts. In addition, the Senior Production Manager determines budget requirements, cost savings project plans, forecasting production needs and ensuring quality standards are maintained.\nWhat you can look forward to in this role:\nManage staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; managing, motivating, and developing management team. \nOversee operations activities, ensuring that safety, and schedules and performance requirements are met and systems resources are used effectively. \nDrive improvements for overall operations performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively. \nDrive improvements for overall operations performance and implementing production safety, cost and quality control mechanisms. \nEnsure the compliance of all regulatory guidelines, safety policies / process and operations excellence. \nAudit and report on safety, Quality, Certification, standard work, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness metrics \nA successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:\nProduction Training: Knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for delivering formal and informal training on the safe and efficient operation of production machinery; ability to conduct effective formal and situation-specific training. \nInfluencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. \nPerformance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance. \nPlanning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way. \nEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. \nTop Candidates for this position may also have:\nBachelor’s degree or 7 years in progressive manufacturing management role. \nProven cross functional leadership leading managers. \nExtensive Project Management experience including demonstrated Lean Manufacturing implementation projects. \nAn extensive knowledge of assembly processes and tools, manufacturing operations, and related areas. \nStrong business acumen and proven excellent decision making in cost analysis, safety and headcount management. \nDemonstrated ability to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department. \nThorough knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes. \nAdditional Information:\nThe primary location for this position is Sanford, NC.\nDomestic relocation assistance is not available\nThis role will be Monday- Thursday 700PM-600AM\nThere is an 8% shift premium for this 3rd Shift position\nSponsorship is not available\nSummary Pay Range:\n$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
