Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nRole Definition:\nThe position is a leadership role responsible for reviewing, approving and providing financial information/records in USAGAAP in a timely and accurate manner, as well as providing functional and technical accounting advisory and support to other team members/departments. It is a key position that will be participating in implementation and process improvement projects.\nWhat will you do:\nSupervisory role.\nMonitor, review, and control financial closing processes, including review Financial Statements in accordance with USGAAP, and explanations of variances month over month, and over prior year.\nReview and approval of Journal Entries, Account reconciliations, clearings of open line items, Currency revaluation/Exchange rate fluctuation impact, review and calculate financial impacts for lease contracts, review accounting information/records prepared for other team members/departments, fixed assets processes and reports\nProvide functional and technical accounting advisory and support to team members and different departments, overseeing and evaluating the activities of the accounting staff, analyzing and resolving accounting problems.\nImplementation of new systems, and improvements to current processes\nPrepare ad hoc reporting requests, mapping and document activities/processes, suggest and implement improvements to processes, and participate in special projects as required.\nPrepare and provide information in a timely and accurate fashion to multiple internal and external customers ensuring the accounting policies and practices of the organization are followed.\nSupervise to keep, implement, and adhere to internal controls and corporate governance undefined\nDegree Requirement:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting with working knowledge in financial reporting\nAdvanced English\nSkills:\nPlanning: Tactical, Strategic:\nTracks progress against plans to meet objectives.\nReports variances and applies agreed corrections.\nDevelop tactical plans for own area with guidance.\nManaging People:\nEstimates task time and resources; manages team workloads to meet deadlines.\nReviews employee progress and performance; removes barriers to growth.\nHelp employees set and meet performance standards and career goals.\nAnalytical Thinking:\nIdentifies information inconsistencies and explains variances.\nOrganizes and prioritizes corrective steps.\nIdentifies possible causes using experience and current research.\nBreaks down complex problems and identifies root causes to develop solutions.\nAccounting:\nSupervises the full accounting function.\nAdvises on accounting process effectiveness and efficiency.\nOversees process and data flows across accounting systems and subsystems.\nFinancial Reporting:\nIdentifies and interprets the organization's main financial statements.\nExplains financial statement structure and content.\nEnsures financial statement and report accuracy.\nEffective Communications:\nCollaborates across departments to gather information, resolve issues, and advise.\nCommunicate effectively in all directions.\nUse appropriate persuasion to gain agreement; conveys needs and defends positions with empathy and assertiveness.\nTailors’ documents and presentations to the audience.\nJudgment and Decision Making:\nSeparates relevant information from noise when weighing actions.\nSelecting the right activities among competing priorities.\nStand by decisions despite conflict or unexpected outcomes.\nTop Candidates will have:\nMaster degree or Accounting/Finance\nCertification Working knowledge on SAP\nStrong skills in MS Office tools such as Excel, MS Access, Power BI,\nAdditional Information:\nThis position may be based in Santa Catarina and will move to Santa Maria building (in Monterrey) in 2027.\nWork schedule: Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm\nAvailability to work on holidays and/or extended time during month end closing and/or special projects/requests\nSponsorship for foreign candidates is not available.\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position.\nDo not forget to include a resumé in English in your profile in Workday.\nFinal details:\nPlease frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
