This is a software development role working with machine collision mitigation and avoidance systems. You’ll be working with software requirements to develop new features, interacting with hardware component teams, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with testing teams. This is a fast-paced and challenging job, but the intangible rewards are high, knowing that you are directly contributing to our customers’ safety.\nWhat You Will Do:\nParticipating in design and development of application software.\nDocumenting architecture specifications, software design description, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures.\nUtilizing appropriate tools to debug, test and maintain software and hardware systems of robotic and driver monitoring tools; assisting in the verification and validation process.\nWhat You Have:\nProgramming: Knowledge of relevant programming languages and tools; ability to test, write, design, debug, troubleshoot and maintain source codes and computer programs using C++ and Python.\nSoftware Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.\nSoftware Product Testing: Knowledge of software product testing; ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure software product quality and adherence to stated requirements.\nProblem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.\nBe a model for the team by exhibiting the five critical behaviors:Customer-back mindset: Create customer value every day.\nAct with Urgency: Inspire velocity and lead the team to resolve issues quickly.\nThink Differently: Find new and innovative ways to deliver by removing roadblocks and inefficient processes from your team’s path.\nOpen & Direct Communication: Be radically transparent with your team and partners.\nAccelerate Early wins: Champion ways to deliver value for the customer faster.\n\nConsideration for Top Candidates:\nBachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.\nMining / Construction Industry experience required.\nProven engineering experience as a Software Engineer working with requirements.\nSoftware development experience for machine applications preferred\nPrior test verification experience supporting projects with camera and radar detect sensors is preferred\nDevOps experience preferred\nAdditional Information:\nThis position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Mossville, IL or Irving, TX office.\nRelocation assistance is available for this position\nVisa sponsorship is available with this position.\nThis position will require up to 10% travel\n#LI\nSummary Pay Range:\n$97,530.00 - $158,480.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
