As a System Integration Lead focusing on core technology application platform, you’ll collaborate with team members to develop the core autonomy framework used in on-board applications at Caterpillar that provide critical value to our customers. Every day you will work with your team to solve real world problems by selecting the right approach and bringing those solutions to production.\nResponsibilities\nLeading a team of developers to deliver software for Cat Robotics\nGathering requirements and scoping deliverables\nCommunicating requirements and managing performance of partner teams developing other aspects of complex autonomy projects\nDesigning system architectures for interfacing autonomy middleware to a variety of applications\nManaging I/O requirements for machine control hardware and other autonomy-related devices\nWhat you will have:\nTechnical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.\nSoftware Product Design/Architecture: Knowledge of software product design; ability to convert market requirements into the software product design.\nManaging Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.\nEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.\nStrategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of \"big picture\" thinking and planning\nTop candidates will have:\nBachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in an accredited Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related degree\nAbility to lead multiple complex projects, meeting timelines and deliverables\nSkilled at programming in C++\nSystem Engineering experience in automotive or heavy machinery industries\nStrong foundation in mathematics and engineering fundamentals\nAdditional Details:\nThis position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Mossville, IL office.\nDomestic relocation assistance is available for this position.\nVisa sponsorship IS available with this position.\nThis position may require up to 10% travel.\n#LI\nSummary Pay Range:\n$128,470.00 - $208,770.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
