The role leads globally distributed teams and offshore delivery partners to ensure IAM platforms are secure, dependable, scalable, and operationally efficient.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead IAM platform operations and engineering teams responsible for platform availability, reliability, performance, and resiliency.\nManage globally distributed teams and offshore service delivery partners, driving accountability, operational excellence, and customer-focused outcomes.\nEstablish and support operational standards for monitoring, incident response, service restoration, platform health, and operational readiness.\nDrive automation and DevOps practices that reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and increase platform stability and scalability.\nEnable AI-powered operational capabilities that improve monitoring, operational insights, knowledge management, anomaly detection, and automated remediation.\nDefine and measure service performance through KPIs, SLAs, SLOs, and platform health metrics.\nLead platform lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, modernization, capacity planning, resiliency improvements, and technical debt reduction.\nPartner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to deliver secure and dependable IAM platform services.\nManage vendor relationships, managed service providers, operational budgets, and workforce planning activities.\nBuild and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.\nWhat You Have:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\nDemonstrated leadership experience managing platform operations, infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise technology teams.\nProven experience leading globally distributed teams, offshore delivery organizations, and managed service providers.\nStrong understanding of service management, platform operations, monitoring, observability, and reliability engineering principles.\nExperience working highly available business-critical platforms in large-scale enterprise environments.\nDemonstrated success driving automation, operational transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWorking knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern platform engineering approaches.\nUnderstanding of AI-enabled operations and practical applications of AI to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.\nEffective communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.\nDemonstrated success developing high-performing technical teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments.\nTop Candidates Will Have:\nIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar credentials.\nExperience supporting enterprise IAM platforms and technologies.\nExperience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), operational observability, and service resiliency practices.\nExperience implementing automation, orchestration, self-service, or self-healing platform capabilities.\nExperience using Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or similar technologies to improve operational outcomes.\nFamiliarity with AI governance, AI Operations (AIOps), and emerging platform engineering practices.\nWhat You Will Get:\nAt Caterpillar, our goal is to provide a rewarding career.
