Don't miss this chance to join and support digital innovation for a global leader in heavy machinery!\n\nWhat will you do? \nAs a CloudOps & FinOps Engineer at Cat Digital's Slovakian branch, you will help operate, optimize, and govern Caterpillar's cloud environments while enabling engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-efficient digital products.\nYou will:\nManage and optimize cloud infrastructure and shared services across AWS and Azure.\nDrive cloud cost visibility, governance, and optimization through FinOps best practices.\nMonitor cloud usage, performance, reliability, and security.\nDevelop and maintain automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD solutions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve operational issues in cloud environments.\nCollaborate with engineering, security, and business teams to improve operational excellence and cloud efficiency.\nThis position works directly with Slovakia-based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT teams in the US.\n\nWhat you have:\nExperience operating cloud environments in AWS and/or Azure.\nUnderstanding of CloudOps, FinOps, cloud governance, and security best practices.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or similar).\nExperience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.\nExperience with cloud monitoring, observability, and incident management.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills.\nRelevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience working within an Agile environment.\nTop Candidates will also have:\nExperience with cloud cost management and FinOps tools.\nExperience supporting multi-account AWS or multi-subscription Azure environments.\nFamiliarity with cloud security and governance platforms.\nExperience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.\nPractical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nKnowledge of API platforms such as Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Management.\nAWS certification. \nWhat we offer:\nAt Cat Digital, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning, and we believe in investing in the development of our employees.
