Together, we can build what matters!\nThe Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN currently has an opening for a Distribution Technician-Receiver. In this role you will be responsible for material availability for facility consumption. One of the primary areas of focus for the receiver will be processing incoming material for the entire campus, helping process incoming damaged goods and maintaining a safe clean work environment. The receiver will also be responsible for receiving incoming material, labeling material, and communicating to the appropriate recipients.\nJob Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:\nReceiving incoming material for the facility by entering purchase orders, bill of ladings, ASN’s, pack slips and other documentation\nMoving material\nMaintaining communication with recipients\nUtilizing computer system to input incoming orders and move interplant material\nBasic Qualifications:\nMust have at least 2 years of stand-up fork truck experience.\nMust have good written and oral communication skills.\nSelf-motivated, safety-conscious individual capable of working independently.\nBasic computer skills.\nTop Candidates will also:\nBe flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands. \nPossess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. \nMust be able to bend and twist at the waist and be able to squat.\nConsistent usage of required PPE for task being performed.\nMust be able to stand on concrete for 8+ hours.\nAdditional Information:\nPosition available is on 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm)\nRelocation assistance is not offered for this position.
