Maintain accurate data and documentation, coordinate recurring EHS activities, and promote cooperative team relationships, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the facility.\nSpecial Announcement: It was recently announced that PSLD Lafayette operations will be moving many of their positions to the facility in Lebanon, IN over the next 2 months. This position is included in the upcoming move.\nAdditional Information:\nThis is a 1st Shift position Mon - Fri 6:30am - 2:30pm\nLocated in Lafayette, IN (1627 Veterans Memorial Pkwy E, Lafayette, IN 47905 )\nPotential monthly attendance bonus of $200\nRelocation assistance is not offered for this position\nCandidates must be able to read, write and conduct business in English\nAbility to work overtime when required \nWhat You Will Do:\nIES\nEnvironmental\nInput, track, and post environmental data and performance metrics, including information associated with Waste Management, Industrial Pallet, Oscar Winski, Safety-Kleen, and Iron Mountain.\nEnter required environmental data into Resource Advisor.\nSupport spill and waste investigations, track reports, and follow countermeasure activities.\nCoordinate disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations and DOT certification requirements.\nDevelop, distribute, and coordinate monthly environmental campaigns, including presentation slides, audit inputs, winner drawings, and swag ordering.\nTrack spill kits, eyewash kits, related supplies, and material usage.\nMonitor supplies in flammable cabinets and support GHS requirements for new products, Safety Data Sheets, labels, and proper product disposal.\nGuardian Program\nInput, track, train, and communicate all aspects of the Guardian Program and its metrics.\nMaintain checklists, swag, payment reminders, new Guardian training, vest and hat distribution, program spreadsheets, and communication with Guardians, Guardees, and Section Management.\nSafety Champions and Green Team\nCreate challenges, assignments, and schedules and provide meaningful weekly and monthly input to Safety Champions.\nAdd schedules to calendars, coordinate invitations, attend meetings, document notes, and follow up on progress.\nCoordinate Green Team (Environmental focus) calendars, invitations, meeting attendance, notes, and follow-up actions.\nEmployee and Facility Administration\nMaintain employee lists for new hires, department or management changes, and terminations. Assign, order, and distribute stamps to associates.\nMaintain PPE vending machine access for new hires and update leadership access lists.\nSafety Communications, Systems, and Records\nDevelop, distribute, and coordinate monthly safety campaigns, including presentation slides, audit inputs, winner drawings, and swag ordering.\nDevelop and distribute Safety Daily 1:1 calendar focus items and weekly focus slides.\nSupport troubleshooting, communication, and updates for Canteen machines.\nCoordinate Stop to Fix communications by developing presentation slides and posts, collecting paper or electronic submissions, entering data, and communicating with divisional IT for support.\nMaintain, track, file, and update equipment inspection logs and forms for forklifts, cranes, and other applicable equipment.\nDevelop, distribute, and coordinate monthly News Flush slides.\nOperational Support\nSupport Security coverage when the security desk is unstaffed.\nSupport Onboarding coverage during vacations and other time off.\nMaintain cooperative relationships with team members and work independently with minimal supervision.\nSupport overtime, irregular shifts, special projects, EHS initiatives, and leadership-driven priorities when business needs require.\nQualifications\nProven experience in team leadership, coordination, or EHS program support.\nStrong organizational, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrated mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and coaching abilities.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.\nGood attendance and the ability to maintain accurate and complete records, documentation, and reports.\nFamiliarity with employee engagement strategies and cross-functional coordination.\nPreferred Experience\nPrevious leadership experience in a manufacturing or logistics operation.\nDemonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience.\nWork Schedule\nThis position is primarily scheduled on first shift. Occasional flexibility may be required to support business needs, including early start times, extended work hours, special projects, EHS initiatives, or leadership-driven priorities.\nEssential Job Functions:\nOccasionally lift parts up to 35 pounds individually or 70 pound as team lift\nOccasional bending, reaching and squatting while performing tasks\nConsistent usage of required PPE for task being performed\nWork in an environment with frequently changing temperatures\nStanding and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasks\nWhat You Have:\nProven experience in team leadership or coordination, preferably in HR or onboarding.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\nProficiency in using onboarding and HR software systems.\nExperience in training development and facilitation is a plus.\nWhat You Will Get:\nStarting wage is $22.45/hour (additional night shift premium for off shifts).
