Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nManages new and existing physical AI compute components involving design, development and testing of electrical and electronic components for use within machine, artificial intelligence and autonomy systems.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAct as the product owner accountable for time, cost and quality for up to several physical AI compute component platforms\nProject plan creation for physical AI compute components managing platform hardware and software coordination\nSupport business case and investment decisions by communicating value created and resources needed to meet project needs\nCommunicate program status to internal stakeholders and management\nCollaborate with suppliers to deliver project milestones at cost targets, on schedule, and at expected quality.\nGuide and prioritize work of internal and external teams to meet goals\nProductionize high performance processor, GPU, and AI accelerator platforms to survive in rugged environments\nNew product introduction as well as continuous product improvement\nSupport Caterpillar's current and next generation of autonomous machines and advanced safety features\nChampion reuse and standardization by developing common hardware and software interfaces that can be leveraged across Caterpillar machines\nWhat You Will Have:\nEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.\nRelationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.\nTechnical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.\nProject Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.\nSupplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.\nTop Candidates Will Also Have:\nFamiliarity with automotive development and quality processes (AIAG APQP)\nFamiliarity with functional safety principles (IEC 61508)\nEmbedded computer hardware or software technical experience\nNvidia ecosystem familiarity and experience\nA proven history of delivering complex projects on schedule\nAdditional Information:\nThis position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Irving, TX office, five days per week.\nRelocation assistance is available for this position.\nVisa sponsorship is available for this position\nTravel is up to 10%\nSummary Pay Range:\n$128,470.00 - $192,710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
