This position would experience a combination of technical leadership, hands-on development, and collaboration with various team members to ensure optimal performance and quality of transmission systems.\nWhat You Will Do:\nProvides technical leadership in the design, development, and enhancement of transmission systems to optimize products and system.\nInteract with machine and transmission application leads and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain transmission software.\nIntegrate common software library modules and source code generated from a code generation tool.\nTesting and debugging embedded system software using different tools/methods available to improve code quality and optimize system performance.\nPerform laboratory verification of software along with performing Model in the Loop (MIL) testing.\nProvide technical leadership in designing and implementing software and procedures\nProvide technical direction in Identifying and addressing areas of product weakness in finished products.\nWhat You Will Have:\nAnalytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.\nProblem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.\nEmbedded Systems: Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications; ability to develop embedded systems with varying levels of complexity to control the operations of the machine it is embedded within.\nRequirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.\nTop candidates will have:\nA bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science\n5+ years of engineering experience is typically aligned with the seniority for this position\nExperience using MATLAB/Simulink for software development.\nExtensive knowledge of software tools such as Git, CANalyzer, CANape, Software Debugger\nCAN/J1939 communication protocols\nAdditional Details:\nThis position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Mossville, IL office.\nDomestic relocation assistance is available for this position.\nVisa sponsorship is NOT available for this position\nTravel is 10%\nSummary Pay Range:\n$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
