Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nRole Definition:\nThis role partners with business unit leaders, L6 machine NPI & Technology leaders, and L6 Machine System Team leaders to define, enable, and communicate the integration of edge AI solutions on machines.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead strategic planning for edge AI solution deployment on machines, developing short- and long-range technology plans with prime product L6 groups and business partner technology leads. Align plans with organizational goals while building team capability and driving continuous improvement.\nOwn NPI deliverables for integrating edge AI sub-systems with L6 machine systems, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk.\nCommunicate program status and timing for L6 machine and technology solution integration, ensuring progress is visible to stakeholders and product teams.\nProvide people and technical leadership in system integration and software development, aligned with the enterprise technical strategy.\nLead the creation, adoption, and maintenance of processes used to design and develop systems, products, services, and technologies.\nCollaborate with global engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver functional, integrated systems that meet design goals.\nWhat You Will Have:\nCommunicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.\nTechnical Excellence: Knowledge of general L6 systems and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.\n Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term) and tactical (1-2 years) planning in support of the overall business goals.\nDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.\nTop Candidates Will Have:\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams across multiple organizations\nExperience in software & systems development and deployment\nExperience with NPI deployment in machine systems and programs\nAdditional Information:\nPosition is on-site, 5 days per week in Irving, TX\nRelocation assistance may be available in accordance with Caterpillar policies.\nSponsorship is not available for this position.\nTravel is 10%\nSummary Pay Range:\n$147,760.00 - $221,640.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
