Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nRole Definition:\nEmbedded Software Engineer - Automotive (5-6 + Years Experience) (C, MATLAB/Simulink, State flow. Develops, designs, implements and tests software of embedded devices and systems; monitors and enhances the efficiency and stability of the systems.\nQualification:\nB.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech Specialization in Electrical or Electronics Engineering\nResponsibilities:\n· Design and develop Application software in C for automotive ECUs /controllers\n· Develop control and state-machine logic using MATLAB, Simulink, and State flow\n· Understand and integrate Data Link Layer protocols (CAN - frame handling, arbitration, message scheduling, transport protocol)\n· Implement CAN/J1939 communication (PGN/SPN handling, message parsing, network management), CIP, MODBUS\n· Implement automotive diagnostics (DTCs, fault handling, UDS/J1939 diagnostic services)\n· Perform hardware-software integration with sensors, actuators, and ECU peripherals\n· Use Vector tools (CANoe/CANalyzer) for CAN simulation, diagnostics, and validation\n· Troubleshooting techniques\n· Use Trace32 (Lauterbach) for unit-level debugging, memory analysis, and low-level bring-up\n· Perform system testing and validation (open loop testing using ICDs, SIL, HIL) and optimize for real-time performance and reliability\nSecondary Responsibilities:\n· Be able to engage and collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver results\n· Be able to participate and contribute ideas in a global team\n· Interested in researching on new industry protocols and standards to drive innovative solutions for complex technical challenges\n· Perform software FMEAs\n· Familiar with ISO 26262 international automotive functional safety standard\n· Familiarity with New Product Development Process\n· Familiarity with Quality Standards like 6 Sigma, BIQ, Lean etc.\nAdditional information: This job requires 5 working days from office\nThis Job Description is intended as a general guide to the job duties for this position and is intended for the purpose of establishing the specific salary grade.
