Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nWhat You Will D o:\nUnderstand and comply with Solar and customer health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) policies, procedures and work permit requirements.\nParticipate in safety and toolbox meetings, complete required safety training and recommend opportunities to improve safe work practices.\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, call-out services and commissioning support in accordance with Solar Engineering specifications, recommendations and best practices.\nRecognize mechanical and electrical abnormalities, identify potential safety risks and take appropriate action to prevent hazards or equipment damage.\nDiagnose and resolve technical issues using sound judgment, established procedures, drawings, technical manuals and available sources of technical advice.\nRepair and adjust minor mechanical and electrical components and systems, individually or in collaboration with other field service representatives.\nProvide technical assistance to operations and maintenance crews as business needs require.\nPrepare accurate daily reports, maintain equipment history records and communicate work status, pending activities, staffing needs and material requirements.\nCoordinate required parts, submit material requisitions and support efficient execution with minimal equipment downtime.\nUse the Workforce Management process and system to manage work orders, pre-work activities, site safety information, availability, time reporting, technical changes, daily reports and task libraries.\nMaintain effective communication with immediate supervision and customer representatives, as applicable.\nSkills you will have:\nService Excellence: Ability to understand customer needs, respond with urgency and provide high-quality technical service.\nInitiative: Proactive approach to responsibilities, challenges and opportunities for improvement.\nProblem Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, report, escalate and resolve operational or technical issues using a disciplined approach.\nMechanical Maintenance: Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, testing, diagnostics, repair and replacement of mechanical equipment used in power generation or oil and gas operations.\nSafety: Strong knowledge of safe work practices and the ability to identify hazards, support inspections, communicate requirements and initiate corrective action.\nProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLC): Basic understanding of PLC concepts, applications and control functions.\nTechnical Troubleshooting: Working knowledge of troubleshooting methods, diagnostic tools, technical documentation and standard resolution procedures.\nBasic Requirements:\nTechnical Degree or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Marine Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or related field.\nTypically, 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.\nExperience working in overseas, offshore, remote, or field service environments.\nExperience with gas turbines and turbomachinery maintenance.\nFamiliarity with rotating equipment and PLC systems through mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation experience.\nAbility to work across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls.\nKnowledge of gas turbine theory and operating practices, including control system logic, driven equipment, and upstream and downstream processes.\nAbility to perform basic PLC programming and troubleshooting.\nAbility to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in field service environments.\nAbility to obtain and maintain required medical, survival, and technical certifications, including offshore certifications where applicable.\nHigh Intermediate English proficiency.\nTop Candidates Will Also Have:\nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.\nAdvanced English proficiency.\nValid passport.\nValid B1/B2 Visa.\nExperience performing gas turbine maintenance and troubleshooting.\nExperience with turbomachinery overhauls and major maintenance activities.\nExperience supporting commissioning, start-up, and field service operations.\nPrevious experience working directly with customers in industrial, power generation, oil & gas, or energy environments.\nAdditional Information:\nTravel requirement: This position requires extensive travel within the assigned territory and potentially to other locations as business needs dictate. The successful candidate must be available to work on rotational schedules and spend extended periods at customer sites.
