When you join the Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division (COGMD), you join a global team that helps to power the global energy industry as well as provide power and propulsion on the water.\nAbout The Role:\nCaterpillar is seeking an experiencedFleet Manager to serve as the primary connection among the customer, Caterpillar, and participating Cat dealers for Fleet Management activities. This role coordinates maintenance and technical support for covered marine engines to improve reliability, availability and overall customer support.\nKey Responsibilities:\nServe as the primary contact for fleet-management activities under a customer agreement.\nCoordinate/track preventive maintenance, engine overhauls, service parts, and dealer support.\nMaintain accurate records of covered engines, maintenance schedules, service history and action items.\nProvide technical and product support, including service-letter reviews and failure-analysis coordination.\nMonitor dealer readiness, parts availability, service execution, reporting, and corrective actions.\nSupport digital connectivity, remote monitoring, diagnostic alerts, and issue resolution.\nLead quarterly operations meetings, support business performance reviews, and issue fleet reports.\nCoordinate alignment between the customer’s planned maintenance system and applicable preventive-maintenance and overhaul scopes.\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years related field experience with engines and understanding of operations and servicing\nCustomer-facing experience in fleet management, product support or a related technical role.\nExperience coordinating maintenance, overhauls, parts, dealers, and technical resources.\nAbility to interpret technical documentation, inspection findings, fluid-analysis results, service letters, and engine operating data.\nStrong planning, reporting, stakeholder-management, project management and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent oral and written English communication skills\nDesired Qualifications:\nA completed university degree in Engineering, Business, or related field\nDeep understanding/experience of the marine industry \nDemonstrated ability to empower teams \nGood knowledge of Caterpillar policies, standards, and procedures\nKnowledge of Caterpillar digital technologies \nKnowledge of Caterpillar dealership network \nWhat Will You Have:\nCustomer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.\nData Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.\nService Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.\nDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.\nEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.\nProblem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations\nRelationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.\nSummary Pay Range:\n$128,470.00 - $192,710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
