This role is critical in ensuring optimal inventory availability, minimizing stock shortages, and improving overall inventory control to support revenue generation and customer satisfaction.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for inventory planning, forecasting, demand management, stock optimization, and ERP-driven inventory control across multiple customer and operational sites. The position requires close collaboration with sales, operations, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to ensure the right parts are available at the right time.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.\nMonitor, analyze, and maintain inventory accuracy using ERP systems.\nSupport parts sales activities by ensuring timely availability of critical SPM Oil & Gas components.\nDevelop and maintain forecasting and demand planning models to support business requirements.\nIdentify stock shortages, excess inventory, and supply risks, implementing corrective actions where required.\nGenerate inventory reports and provide recommendations to improve stock control and inventory performance.\nCoordinate with supply chain, procurement, warehousing, and operations teams to ensure efficient inventory replenishment.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and drive root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.\nEnsure compliance with internal inventory control procedures and best practices.\nCommunicate inventory status, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders.\nTravel to multiple customer and operational sites as required.\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.\nMinimum 4 years' experience in Inventory Planning, Materials Planning, Demand Planning, or a similar inventory management role.\nDemonstrated experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Syteline.\nExperience in forecasting, demand planning, inventory optimization, and stock control.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.\nAbility to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and functions.\nWillingness to travel as required.\nPreferred Qualifications & Experience\nPrevious experience within the Oil & Gas, Industrial Equipment, Aftermarket Parts, or Energy sectors.\nExperience managing inventory for high-value critical spare parts.\nKnowledge of supply chain planning and inventory management best practices.\nUnderstanding of service parts management and distribution operations.\nExperience supporting multiple operational or customer sites.\nKey Competencies\nInventory Management\nForecasting & Demand Planning\nSupply Chain Planning\nERP Systems (SAP/Syteline)\nData Analysis & Reporting\nAccuracy and Attention to Detail\nStakeholder Management\nContinuous Improvement\nWhat Success Looks Like\nImproved inventory visibility and control.\nReduced stock shortages and stock-outs.\nImproved forecast accuracy and inventory planning effectiveness.\nIncreased parts availability to support customer demand and revenue growth.\nEnhanced inventory data integrity and ERP accuracy.\nStrong cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and supply chain teams.\nAdditional Information:\nOffice-based: 5 days a week, KSA.\nWhat We Offer\nFrom day one, you’re set up to thrive at Caterpillar: onboarding support, strong mentorship, global exposure, competitive compensation, work-life balance, and long-term career growth in a Fortune 100 company.\nYou power our success, and we are committed to empowering yours.\nPlease frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
