This role has responsibility and accountability for deploying, transforming and managing the various software suites (SAP Concur, Vendor Management Systems, and Oversight) that the enterprise leverages for Indirect Procurement. This position will help support the internal Indirect Procurement organization as well as key stakeholders across the enterprise.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDesign, develop, and deploy middleware jobs using Datastage or Snaplogic by connecting to various source and target systems\nProvide technical leadership by architecting solutions on various projects based on the business requirements. \nCollaborate with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepare implementation plans for successful deployment.\nExcellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills\nProvide front-line support to customers when needed as part of helping them in resolving support issues\nWould be accountable and responsible for overseeing audit-related tasks of Vendor Management application\nOversee and coordinate multiple engagements across projects, operations, and support teams to ensure they are completed on time and within budget by following the demand management methodology\nWould be accountable and responsible for designing and developing Power BI reports based on the business needs\nShould have an attitude to learn new technologies and implement them\nMentor and coach the team on technical challenges, when needed\nWill be accountable for driving adoption and identifying continuous improvement opportunities including standardization, simplification, and risk mitigation\nGather business requirements and work with various stakeholders to deploy SAP Concur\nWhat You Have:\nBachelor’s degree - or 10 plus equivalent experience required\n5 plus years of experience in relational database design, data modeling, and structured query language (SQL)\nExperience in Power BI report design and development\nProficiency in English is required\nStrong experience designing and implementing API integrations, including RESTful services, system-to-system integrations. \nWorking knowledge of AI concepts, capabilities, and enterprise use cases, with the ability to identify opportunities for AI adoption.\nHands-on experience with Snowflake across both development and administration.\nStrong experience architecting enterprise-wide ETL/ELT solutions across diverse systems and data platforms, defining scalable integration patterns, technology strategies, and target-state architectures spanning legacy and cloud-based technologies.\nConsiderations For Top Candidates:\nSAP Concur Experience\nBeeline or IQNavigator Experience\nShould have 8 plus years of experience in Middleware Technologies like Datastage / Snaplogic.\nMust have 6 plus years of experience in on-prem databases and 3 plus years of working experience in Snowflake\nShould have experience in building PowerApps\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and conceptualization skills\nExperience in managing multiple projects using project management methodologies\nExperience in scripting languages like VBScript or JavaScript is an added advantage.\nConsistently exhibits the willingness and interest to learning new technologies\nAdditional Info:\nThe ideal location for this role is Peoria-IL or Irving-TX\nAbout Caterpillar -\nFor more than a century, Caterpillar has helped build a better, more sustainable world.
