You will develop your professional network and leadership skills, assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable Caterpillar success. Further, you will contribute real value by developing, integrating, and/or supporting in-house and purchased applications to solve business problems. You will be responsible for implementation of business (processes/activities/functions, information), applications, data and technology in the enterprise and the transitional process necessary for implementing technology in response to changing business needs.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAbility to create Data pipelines using Snaplogic having at least 5 years of experience in implementing complex pipelines along with performance tuning.\nFollow support processes, with focus on ITSM incident management to resolve P1/P2/P3/P4 tickets and actively communicating business partners on issues, impact, and resolutions on concerns raised.\nNeed to have thorough understanding on Snowflake Data Warehouse features and at least 3 years of hands-on work experience writing SQL queries and procedures.\nFollow End to End Change Request Management Tasks. (Requirement gathering from business, create and review functional requirement documents, perform manual unit testing and integration testing of new functionality, ensure 100% SOX compliance, etc.,).\nCollaborate with functional expert groups to derive the insights from data extracted into Snowflake.\nWhat You Have:\nMinimum 3+ years of experience in Data integration using Snaplogic / Any ETL Tool and Data warehousing domain.\nMinimum 3+ years of experience on Snowflake Cloud / Any other Cloud Database platform.\nGood knowledge on Unix commands and scripting.\nProficient in writing complex SQL scripts and Stored Procedures.\nProficient in Performance tuning of integration jobs developed in Snaplogic and SQL queries in Snowflake.\nGood knowledge on Data Modelling and Data Warehousing concepts.\nBachelor’s degree in engineering - BE / B.Tech\nExcellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.\nGood understanding and work experience in Agile Methodology.\nWith sparsely growing technical ecosystem, should be open to learn and adopt new technologies.\nGood to have:\nOther Cloud Database/ Integration tool Knowledge is an added advantage.\nCandidate should be flexible to work in rotational shifts including night shifts.\nClient/Business partner facing skills, ability to run workshops.\nExperience in Leading the Team in the Data Warehousing projects.\nCaterpillar is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status; however, as a global company, Caterpillar offers many job opportunities outside of India which can be found through our employment website at www.caterpillar.com/careers.\nFinal Details:\nPlease frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
