Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nJob Summary\nWe are looking to add a skilled IT Analyst Technical Infrastructure (AWS Integrations Developer) within India CoE-Integration & Engg -CAT IT Division based in Bangalore, India.\nThe AWS Integrations Developer will design and maintain cloud-based integrations using AWS services while also supporting existing IBM DataPower and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) workloads during a transitional period. This role includes collaborating closely with business partners to gather requirements, facilitate testing and debugging, and manage production deployments across both on-prem and cloud environments. The developer will lead efforts to modernize and migrate current IBM integration solutions to AWS, ensuring secure, reliable connectivity between internal applications and external partners while upholding platform health, operational resilience, and compliance standards.\nThe preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield PSN Office, Bangalore, India\nWhat you will do\nDevelop cloud-native integrations using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda (Python), EventBridge, Step Functions, and other serverless components.\nDesign and implement secure, scalable integration patterns on AWS, including RESTful APIs, event-driven workflows, asynchronous messaging, and partner connectivity.\nUse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform to provision, version, and automate deployment of integration resources.\nRefactor and modernize existing IBM DataPower and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) integrations for migration to AWS, ensuring functional parity and improved resilience.\nSupport ongoing IBM integration development as needed, including DataPower (MPGW, XML Firewall, API Gateway) and ACE message flows (ESQL, JavaCompute) during the transition period.\nBuild and manage secure connectivity with internal applications and third-party services using REST, SOAP, SFTP, MQ, and AWS-native security controls.\nImplement security controls such as mTLS, OAuth/JWT, rate limiting, schema validation, WAF rules, and AWS threat-protection features.\nMaintain both cloud and on-prem integration platforms by applying patches, performing upgrades, monitoring system health, and optimizing performance.\nManage certificate lifecycles across environments, including CSRs, imports, renewals, and automated deployment using AWS Certificate Manager where applicable.\nAutomate CI/CD pipelines for integration code, IaC templates, and IBM configuration bundles/BAR files to ensure repeatable, compliant deployments.\nTroubleshoot integration issues across AWS and IBM platforms using logs, traces, CloudWatch metrics, and application monitoring tools to meet SLAs and ensure high availability.\nDocument AWS API specifications, integration patterns, migration approaches, and operational runbooks to support consistent implementation and long-term maintainability.\nWhat you will have:\n7+ years of experience in integration development, cloud engineering, or IT operations roles supporting mission-critical systems.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS serverless integration services, including API Gateway, Lambda (Python), EventBridge, Step Functions, and related AWS design patterns\nProficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or AWS CDK for automated deployment and environment provisioning.\nSolid Python development skills for building Lambda functions, automation tooling, and AWS integration logic.\nExperience assessing, refactoring, and migrating on-prem IBM DataPower and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) workloads to cloud-native AWS architectures.\nWorking knowledge of IBM DataPower (MPGW, XML Firewall, API Gateway) and ACE (message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute) for supporting and transitioning legacy integrations.\nStrong understanding of secure integration patterns, including mTLS, OAuth/JWT, rate limiting, schema validation, and threat-protection controls.\nExperience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD automation using GitHub.\nExcellent facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills, especially during time-sensitive or high-pressure situations.\nDeep understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes following ITIL frameworks.\nExperience with ServiceNow, including Major Incident Management processes and inbound/outbound integrations.\nShift Timing: 01:00-10:00PM IST.\nThis position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.\nSkills Required:\nCore Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.\nLevel Extensive Experience:\nManages application-related issues, implications, and approaches with clients.\nEvaluates key interfaces and interdependencies among core applications systems.\nExplains features and benefits of core applications for consideration by business units.\nImplements existing and planned application enhancements in major business units.\nTracks data flow between own applications and core applications in other business areas.\nPlans enhancement, conversion, and retirement strategies for core applications.
