Don't miss this chance to join and support digital innovation for a global leader in heavy machinery!\n\nWhat you will do:\nAs a Lead Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the Cat Digital Mission Critical web-based systems and infrastructure. You will:\nDeliver technical roadmaps on business processes and applications to support business objectives, standards and processes.\nAnalyze business requirements, current technical gaps needed to support business strategies and expectations.\nPlay a key role in conducting risk assessments, root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality assurance processes, and routine issue resolution. \nCommunicate client feedback to technology teams in order to improve deliverables and meet business requirements.\nWhat you have:\nCustomer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.\nSystems Thinking: Knowledge of the critical interdependencies among individual system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results.\nSystems Software Infrastructure: Knowledge of computer architecture and system software interaction; ability to design and build a fundamental architecture of operating systems, database management systems, communications protocols, compilers and other development tools\nTechnical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.\n Technical Leadership: Demonstrated technical leadership; ability to guide engineers, drive technical direction and take ownership of technical decisions.\nExperience with AWS infrastructure and services. \nExperience with IaaC solutions like CloudFormation and Terraform. \nExperience with CI/CD solutions - Github, Azure DevOps. \nProven experience and proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python (preferred), JavaScript (preferred). \nSolid experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nTop candidates will also have:\nExperience with monitoring and alerting solutions such as Thousand Eyes, Grafana, AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace\nKnowledge of node.js, next.js and similar headless services \nUnderstanding of tracing for modern applications - opentelemetry and similar \nAWS certification associate or higer level\nWhat we offer:\nAt Cat Digital, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning, and we believe in investing in the development of our employees.
