In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.\nThe Logistics Planning Analyst serves as a key contributor to facility logistics operations, warehouse planning, inventory management, logistics systems administration, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports both daily operational execution and long-term strategic improvements by maintaining logistics master data, warehouse routings, location structures, operational reporting tools, audit programs, and material flow processes.\n\nAdditional Information:\nLocation: Lebanon, Indiana\nRequired Travel: Up to 40% to the warehouse\nUS Work Authorization Sponsorship Offered: None\nRelocation Assistance Offered: None\n\nWhat You Will Do:\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize warehouse routings, location structures, order control location (OCLs), pick paths, storage assignments, and material flow configurations.\nSupport warehouse planning activities including capacity analysis, storage optimization, inventory placement strategies, and material flow improvements.\nCoordinate warehouse transitions, material relocations, inventory moves, and operational layout changes while minimizing disruption to daily operations.\nSupport integration of new part introductions, storage requirements, routing development, and warehouse readiness activities.\nAnalyze inventory and material movement trends to identify improvement opportunities related to storage utilization, replenishment strategies, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.\nMaintain logistics and warehouse system data to ensure accuracy and efficient execution of operational processes.\nSupport operational systems and tools including warehouse management applications, reporting platforms, inventory systems, and logistics databases.\nInvestigate, analyze, and resolve system exceptions, transaction failures, data discrepancies, and process interruptions impacting operational performance.\nCoordinate user access requests, permissions management, and system support activities for operational personnel.\nPartner with Information Technology and business support teams to resolve system issues and implement process improvements.\nPerformance Analytics and Reporting\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance operational performance metrics, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools.\nUtilize Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and other analytical tools to provide actionable operational insights.\nAnalyze trends related to inventory, productivity, material flow, quality, capacity, and service performance.\nSupport facility leadership through data-driven recommendations and performance reviews.\nEnsure alignment between local operational reporting requirements and corporate performance measurement standards.\nLead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and operational efficiency.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing, HOPS, 5S, Stop-to-Fix, and Caterpillar Production System improvement activities.\nDevelop and maintain standard work, process documentation, workflows, and operating procedures.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring operational issues.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce waste, improve responsiveness, enhance visibility, and streamline logistics processes\nDevelop and maintain facility audit schedules and compliance tracking systems.\nCoordinate operational audits and monitor completion of corrective actions.\nMaintain documentation supporting operational standards, safety requirements, continuous improvement initiatives, and facility compliance programs.\nSupport EHS and operational leadership teams in tracking and reporting compliance-related activities.\nSupport facility and logistics projects involving warehouse optimization, inventory storage, material movement, system enhancements, and process improvements.\nCoordinate project activities with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and execution.\n\nEvaluate project risks, identify operational impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies.\nMonitor project progress and communicate status updates to management and impacted business partners.\nWhat You Have (Basic Qualifications):\nProblem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems;
