PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.\nThe Logistics Systems Integration Lead implements projects across a team of global transportation professionals, internal and external technology providers, and process partners delivering effective end to end solutions to maximize the efficiency of the International Transportation Parts & Components network.\n\nAdditional Information:\n Location: Morton, IL (United States)\n Required Travel: Less than 10% (Domestic & International)\nRelocation Assistance Offered: None\nUS Work Sponsorship Offered: None\nWhat You Will Do:\nEstablish transportation best practices and solutions for multi-modal, multi-leg end to end solutions. \nApply process improvement tools and assist with the implementation of efficient and competitive solutions. \nCoordinate with transportation and operations functions to define critical parameters and develop plans for process control and improvements. \nEvaluate logistics processes and workflows, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for process-related concerns. \nBecome a trusted solution subject matter expertise across BY TMS, e2open GLO, Data, Reporting, Nexus as part of the international transportation global solution. \n\nWhat You Have (Basic Requirements):\nAnalytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.\nCollaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. \nDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. \nLogistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.\nPlanning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.\nProblem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.\nResults Orientation: Knowledge of the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets; ability to drive critical activities to completion.\nTop Candidates Will Have: \nExperience with transportation of materials and goods to/from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and customers. \nProgressively responsible experience in transportation, supply chain, or logistics. \nExperience leading the design, prototype, and configuration of processes and solutions. \nExperience leading cross-functional project teams. \nAbility to build consensus across multiple functional areas. \nExperience with Blue Yonder TMS. \nExperience with e2open GLO. \nStrong knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, EDI/API, and Power BI. \nSix Sigma or Lean experience. \n\nWhat You Will Get:\nThis is Caterpillar - creating and delivering world-class components and solutions superior to the competition.
