The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can complete preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, etc.\n What You Will Do (including but not limited to):\nCarry out preventive maintenance: \nAnalyzing and effecting improvements on facilities because of observations made during preventive maintenance. \nParticipating in regularly scheduled maintenance stops. \nCarry out corrective maintenance: \nanalyze the malfunction and propose, then put into effect, the best solution. When a repair is done, the incumbent should inform the supervisor and/or production about availability of the equipment and immediately give the repair done. \nThe incumbent records immediately the incident encountered in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). \nHelp maintenance agents and exterior companies as necessary, carrying out an intervention on-site, in agreement with supervisor. \nBe able to find technical information and contact external suppliers directly. \nParticipate in smooth functioning of the spare parts storeroom. \nBasic Qualifications:\nExperience working in a maintenance, mechanical, or electrical position (preferably in a heavy industrial environment) \nManufacturing Safety: Knowledge and application of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site \nTop Candidates Will Have:\nAssociates degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or relevant program \nPreventative maintenance and repairs on various manufacturing and facilities equipment (pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, conveyor, HVAC systems, fire systems, etc.) \nKnowledge of Electrical (110-480VAC and 0-36VDC), PLC's, Controls, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and gas systems considered a plus \nExperience working in a foundry (Hodges is a cast iron foundry) is preferred \nPrevious experience using Microsoft Office, ACAD, E-drawing, QAD, and Llumin is preferred \nUsage on manual, electrical, and pneumatic tools for repairs and diagnostics. \nAdditional Information:\n2nd Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm\nThis position is eligible for $.75 hourly shift premium.\nThis is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.\nPlease frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
