Reporting CoE - Global Finance Services Division.\nThe preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore Office, KA-India\nWhat you will do\nFinancial Reporting\nPreparation of Financial Statements and audit schedules needed for the Legal Entity to comply with regulatory requirements of the Local GAAP and other compliance obligations. \nAnalysis of financial results to arrive at meaningful conclusions\nUnderstand and perform Audit adjustments based on GAAP differences and signficance of the transactions; Reconcilition of local GAAP & US GAAP records \nSupport filing of statutory reports with assistance from legal teams\nProject Management\nLead statutory audits by ensuring timely provision of information\nLead discussions with other functional groups to compile and review all financial information required for\nFinancial Statements and audit validations\nResolving audit questions and managing discussions independently / with limited support and guide others with respect to preparation and presentation of financials\nSupport Other Local Compliances\nThe Incumbent will work with Tax groups (both Direct and Indirect) to assist them with specific requests on data / information feed that involve statutory reports to meet with tax compliances (Assessments/ Audits/ Transfer Pricing, etc).\nAdvisor to the business on matters concerning local statutory requirements Business & Regulatory Acumen\nStrong knowledge of latest regulations that impact statutory reporting\nEstablish close connects with business / operations teams and stay on top of business changes. \nWhat you will have\nQualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience/ Semi qualified with 10-12 years experience in managing statutory audits \nExperience in accounting in US GAAP & IFRS (or FRS of any country in Asia) is required\nExperience in SAP or other ERP is preferred\nBig 4 experience preferred.\nKnowledge of Compliances relating to Taxes / Secretarial / trade /Currency will be an added advantage but not mandatory\nStrong Communication and inter-personal skills required\nExperience with Stakeholder Management is a plus \nExperience with job transition and leading teams preferred\nOther Preferred Skills: \nKnowledge of general accounting practices, Passion for Financial Reporting, Ability to learn and adapt quickly and a strong positive attitude.\nMaintaining stable performance under demanding business needs\nThis position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.\nSkills desired:\nEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.\nLevel Working Knowledge:\nDelivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient.\nListens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness.\nMakes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work.\nAvoids technical jargon when inappropriate.\nLooks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups.
