In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of processes and tooling.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nCreating and maintaining work instructions, tool lists, inspection guides, Control Plans, PFMEAs and SFMEAs for automation and other manufacturing processes.\nSupport new product introductions and continuous improvement efforts around people, quality, velocity, and cost for assembly processes.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives participating in Lean Manufacturing projects and 5S improvements.\nEngages in creative problem-solving to address operational issues, including ergonomics and safety, efficiency improvements, process bottlenecks, and quality concerns related to automation and other manufacturing processes.\nWorks with internal and external suppliers to develop and manage projects, ensuring efficient and cost-effective systems and processes to produce quality products.\nProvide manufacturing technical support in process controls for assembly and other manufacturing processes.\nMonitor and improve equipment reliability by identifying and addressing problem areas, performing root cause analysis, and being the technical expert for the value stream.\nEnsures compliance with all manufacturing standards, procedures, and safety guidelines, including both Caterpillar and OSHA compliant procedures.\nWHAT YOU WILL HAVE:\nDegree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or closely related discipline OR equivalent technical experience plus demonstrated competence of significant engineering and/or operational experience related to automation and manufacturing.\nTechnical expertise in the latest manufacturing technologies such as AI, automation, and robotics. Hands-on experience with equipment setup, diagnostics, and optimization with the ability to develop and deploy robotic solutions.\nLean Manufacturing: Demonstrated ability to apply lean manufacturing tools and methodologies in a production environment.\nManufacturing Processes: Expertise in manufacturing safety related to automation, knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods and technology and the ability to execute, plan and manage the manufacturing assembly process.\nDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills, with experience in evaluating options, predicting impact, and advising others.\nTOP CANDIDATES’ MAY ALSO HAVE:\nExperience with 3D modeling programs (NX or Creo)\nExperience with automation of assembly processes\nExtensive knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles\nAbility to work with a diverse group of employees and customers\nGood communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills\nProficient with all Microsoft Office 365 products\nExperience with SAP\nAbility to analyze and interpret various types of data to make informed decisions\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION:\nThis position requires the selected candidate to work on-site five days a week in the North Little Rock, Arkansas facility\nDomestic relocation is not available\nVisa sponsorship is not available\nSummary Pay Range:\n$89,210.00 - $133,810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
