As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for managing and distributing tools, equipment, and supplies essential for maintaining and repairing machinery as well as supporting production needs. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of something big, apply now and let's build a better tomorrow together!\nWhat you will do:\nProvide exceptional customer service by assisting all team members with locating parts \nDisburse all parts removed and/or signed out from crib using inventory system software and tools \nSet up, adjust, troubleshoot, and operate a variety of machine tooling, including specialized and advanced variation tools to conduct precision machining operations \nMaintain machining processes to specifications \nManage the dispositioning of tools sent out and/or received for regrind or repair \nHandle the delivery and pickup of machine tools utilizing transfer carts \nPerform process testing to ensure quality control \nMaintain accurate records related to inventory, quality and defective parts \nTrack items through the designated software system \nRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematic diagrams \nAssist with resolution of Continuous Improvement cards and provide process information to supervisors \nComplete daily 5S, workplace approved organization method, for tool crib and desks by end of shift \nEnsure a safe and clean workstation environment \nPerform any other assigned duties \nWhat you will have:\nMinimum of 4 months' experience in a machining, manufacturing, or warehouse environment or industry certification \nAbility to work well with others \nProficiency in working with hand tools \nFamiliarity with mechanical products and components \nAbility to read, write, and interpret documents in English \nAttention-to-detail and ability to identify non-conforming parts and investigate quality defects \nPrevious experience reading and interpreting part prints, schematics, and/or blueprints \nGeneral knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint \nPrevious experience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work \nAbility to adhere to safety procedures \nWhat would make you a top candidate: \nExperience using scanners and inventory system software for parts management \nPrevious experience and/or training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Software \nPrevious experience setting up and troubleshooting Heller and/or Toyoda machining cells \nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time \nAbility to perform repetitive operations \nAbility to lift up to 35 lbs. \nWe are committed to ensuring a supportive and accommodating work environment for all employees.
