Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nAs an Operations Quality Technician within Captive Flow, you will audit machines as well as carrying out some operational duties within the captive flow area.\nWhat You Will Do:\nConduct audits on fully built machines within the captive flow area following inspection standard work.\nCarry basic operational duties including but not limited to PSPS and fluid top ups, ensuring machine is ready for PDI process.\nRecord defect information in detail via electronic, manual processes or visual boards.\nClearly communicate defects to other areas and support area personnel as issues arise.\nParticipate in defect investigations and projects as required.\nSupport and train new team members.\nKeep the work area clean, tidy and safe in line with 5S and total preventative maintenance (TPM).\nAdhere to the company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practice.\nThe panel cannot make assumptions when shortlisting therefore please demonstrate your qualifications and experience on your CV relevant to the criteria outlined.\nWhat you can demonstrate:\nQuality Gate or operational experience\nExperience of the Built in Quality process, reporting defects and root cause analysis.\nExperience of following standard work procedures.\nPossess a good understanding of assembly operations practices and process.\nAs a team member the ability to work closely with others is imperative, requiring team participation to achieve the agreed goals\nSelf-motivated, with the flexibility to deal with independent and team behaviours.\nHighly organised and a keen attention to detail.\nAttention to detail with excellent communication skills.\nA desire to help improve the quality of our machines.\nFlexible with working hours where needed\nPending the number of applications, the criteria for the position may be enhanced to facilitate shortlisting.\nWhat You Will Get\nJob Title: Operations Quality Auditor/Technician\nSalary: £27,074 rising when role triggers are met to £28,532\nContract: Permanent\nBenefits: 27 days annual leave + bank holidays, Production Bonus, Share Scheme (50% Company Matched), Contributory Pension Scheme (Contribution double by Company up to 10%), Free Car Parking, Caterpillar Benefits scheme\nLocation: Desford, Leicestershire\nTravel: Not required\nOne Company, Limitless Opportunities\nCaterpillar is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.
