If you have experience in fabrication or heavy manufacturing, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement, this is your chance to make a global impact with a Fortune 100 company that values integrity, innovation, and career growth.\nApply now to help build the infrastructure that powers progress around the world.\nAdditional Information\nShift: Rotating\nWork location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau\nThis position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.\nWork Environment: This position is based in a manufacturing setting.\nRelocation: Domestic relocation options are available.\nWhat You Will Do\nCreating reports and records of production processes, tools issues performance, and inventory; sharing them with managers and providing suggestions to improve safety, productivity and quality. \nPreparing, maintaining, and updating documentation related to operating procedures and safety and quality standards; ensuring all processes and products meet desired safety and quality standards. \nSupervising and directing the daily activities of production line workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety, and monitoring their performance. \nTraining new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. \nWhat Skills You Have\nManufacturing Operations: Knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products. \nQuality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization. \nPlanning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way. \nManufacturing Safety: Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site. \nDegree and Experience Requirement\nA university degree in an operations-related discipline. \nA minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, assembly, or multitask operations. \nWillingness to work outside of normal hours, including overtime and alternate shifts. \nPhysical Requirements (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation)\nThis job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment. \nWhat You Will Get\nOur goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
