This is more of senior program management role.\nManage all aspects of the SAP deployments including the requirements gathering, project plan, site communications, and plan execution. This includes, but not limited to:\nSupport GIS Demand management activities\nLead SAP related Dricefs/ MGPPs delivery\nLead ERP pre-assessments workshops for business to provide estimates.\nLead SAP & QAD related deployments globally\nInteractions with GCIO and EMs, facility senior leaders, GIS division managers and directors on SAP transformation initiatives\nManage both Cat and IT vendor resources across regions\nMange deployment IT budget ranges from ~$1M to $10M\nCandidate should have strong communication skills, be an innovative thinker, have strong problem-solving skills, work well in a team environment, and possess strong customer relationship and customer support skills. \nAbility to work independently and manage one’s time as well as well as being a collaborative team member \nAbility to convert BU requirements into IT requirements. (Demand Management) \nAbility to coordinate with vendors and other cross functional teams for support and deployment\nParticipate in project control meetings and reporting status on deployments\nBACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:\nThe successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following selection criteria: \n10 plus years experience in SAP project delivery\nExcellent client-facing and internal communication skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills\nProject Management Professional (PMP) / BB certification required\nBachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience\nSkill Descriptors\nPlanning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.\nLevel Extensive Experience:\nDevelops, refines, and communicates tactical plans for own responsibilities.\nProvides the right level of detail as input for strategic plan development.\nDemonstrates the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan.\nEnsures attention to the detail and dependencies of existing departmental-level plans.\nPlans for allocation of resources in line with unit goals, technical and business objectives.\nEnsures the planning process is integrated with the overall business plan.\nAnalytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis;
