Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nKey Responsibilities\nAgile Delivery & Release Management\nManage and coordinate the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure successful and predictable delivery of committed objectives.\nOversee end-to-end release planning, execution, and tracking across multiple teams.\nMonitor current release work items and ensure alignment with release milestones and delivery commitments.\nReview and manage delivery risks, dependencies, and escalation paths to maintain program health.\nScrum Team Leadership\nLead and support multiple Scrum teams to ensure adherence to Agile principles and delivery best practices.\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) events as required.\nCoach teams on Agile maturity and continuous improvement practices.\nAgile Framework Adoption\nApply and adapt Agile delivery frameworks including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban based on team maturity, project complexity, and business needs.\nDrive Agile best practices and foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.\nGuide teams in effective backlog management, prioritization, and delivery forecasting.\nStakeholder and Dependency Management\nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve delivery blockers and cross-team dependencies.\nProactively engage with Business, Product Management, and Engineering teams to refine scope, priorities, and delivery plans.\nCommunicate program status, risks, and delivery progress to leadership and stakeholders.\nDefect and Quality Management\nOrganize, facilitate, and drive regular defect triage and tracking meetings.\nReview defect trends, prioritize critical issues, and coordinate resolution activities with development and testing teams.\nEnsure defects and quality concerns are effectively managed to support successful releases.\nRisk and Issue Management\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks impacting delivery objectives.\nEscalate critical issues appropriately and drive resolution through collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.\nMaintain visibility of program risks and mitigation plans.\nTool and Process Management\nManage and maintain Agile work items, backlogs, features, user stories, tasks, and defects within Azure DevOps (ADO).\nEnsure delivery metrics, dashboards, and reporting are accurate and up to date.\nSupport continuous process improvements through effective use of Agile and ALM/PLM tools.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in Agile project delivery, Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, or Delivery Manager roles.\nStrong experience working with SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.\nProven experience managing multiple Agile teams and coordinating large-scale releases.\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for work item tracking, backlog management, and reporting.\nExcellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.\nStrong risk management and dependency coordination skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.\nExperience leading distributed and cross-functional teams.\nBackground in software product development and enterprise-scale Agile delivery.\nKey Competencies\nAgile Leadership\nRelease & Program Management\nStakeholder Management\nRisk & Dependency Management\nContinuous Improvement\nDefect Management\nStrategic Planning\nCollaboration & Communication\nAzure DevOps Administration\nProblem Solving & Decision Making\nPosting Dates:\nOctober 11, 2026 - October 24, 2026Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
