Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\n\nWhat You Will Do:\n\n· Own torque tooling lifecycle management, including selection, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization.\n· Define and validate torque requirements for NPI/NSI and production requirements.\n· Analyze and resolve torque-related issues through data-driven investigations.\n· Ensure compliance of fastening processes and torque tools.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to support quality, efficiency, and company manufacturing strategy.\nManage budget plan for torque tooling both in expense and capital.\n\nWhat Skills You Will Have:\nAccuracy and Attention to Detail\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nDecision Making and Critical Thinking\nFlexibility and Adaptability\nData Analysis & Problem Solving\nProject Management\nQuality Management System (QMS)\nRequired Qualifications:\n· Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.\n· Experience supporting manufacturing operations, quality systems, or assembly process controls in a production environment.\n· Knowledge of fastening processes, manufacturing equipment, tooling systems, or related assembly technologies.\n· Experience utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.\n· Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.\n· Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Minitab, or equivalent.\n· Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n· Experience managing tooling, equipment, or manufacturing process ownership within a production environment.\n· Knowledge of torque-controlled assembly processes and fastening system applications.\n· Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and process implementation activities.\n· Familiarity with quality planning tools including PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP, and PPAP.\n· Experience interpreting manufacturing performance data to drive process improvement and quality outcomes.\n· Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement projects that improve safety, quality, delivery, or cost performance.\n· Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification preferred.\n· Experience managing capital and expense budgets for manufacturing equipment or tooling investments.\n· Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships and effectively collaborate across functions and organizations.\n· Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering results.\n· Growth mindset with a passion for learning and continuous professional development.\n\nAdditional Information:\nAccept occasional evening meeting, no later than 10pm.\nThis position requires working onsite five days a week.Posting Dates:\nNovember 8, 2026 - December 7, 2026Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
