Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nJob Summary:\nThe Quality Manager is responsible for leading the quality organization at CCMC OSF facility, managing a team of approximately 98 employees across incoming material inspection, manufacturing quality control, product quality assurance, as-delivery inspection, and customer quality support activities. The role supports both internal operations and approximately 20 global customers, driving quality performance, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and compliance with Caterpillar quality standards and manufacturing processes.\nMain Job Duties\nOversee incoming material inspection, manufacturing quality control, final inspection, and customer quality support activities.\nDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve recurring quality issues in a complex manufacturing environment.\nPartner with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and supplier teams to improve product quality and operational performance.\nManage quality performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with quality management systems, company procedures, and industry standards.\nFacilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration to achieve quality objectives.\nLead customer audits, internal audits, and quality improvement programs.\nPromote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nRequired Skills/Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nSolid knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly welding, painting, and assembly operations.\nStrong leadership experience managing large quality teams within a manufacturing environment.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProven problem-solving capability and logical thinking to address recurring quality challenges.\nStrong understanding of quality management principles, quality systems, and quality tools.\nGood command of written and spoken English.\nExperience in customer quality management and supplier quality management.\nAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional and global business environment.\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications\nAdvanced degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.\nCertification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, CQE, or equivalent quality disciplines.\nExperience in heavy equipment, industrial manufacturing, or automotive industries.\nExperience leading quality transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.\nKnowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and other advanced quality methodologies.\nThis position requires working onsite five days a week.Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.Posting Dates:\n十一月 5, 2026 - 十一月 19, 2026Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
