This is a terrific opportunity to join the Caterpillar North Little Rock, AR team as a Quality Technician II on our 1st shift team earning day ONE benefits with a quarterly bonus program.\nAs a Quality Technician II 1st shift earning $21.75 an hour you will perform quality inspection of Motor Grader, Medium Wheel Loaders, and DV components and DV machines. Emphasis is on assembly and paint process inspection. Apply Caterpillar engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to judge conformance of NLR products.\nOur goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career. Our teams are critical to the success of our customers who build a better world.\nBasic Qualifications\nAt least one year of experience is required in one of the following areas: Quality Inspection, Welding and Fabrication, Machining, Assembly, Paint, or Logistics.\nTop Candidates will also have\nAdditional work experience, particularly in a manufacturing quality role, is highly desirable.\nExperience reading engineering drawings and Cat 1E specifications is highly desirable. Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance is also desirable.\nComputer literacy with proficiency in SAP-ME, AQE, and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable. \nAbility to use Teamcenter software to open and view CAD models of Prime Product and assemblies is highly desirable. Experience using online Caterpillar drawings (in EPIX or PRWB) and 1E Specifications (in REDI) also highly desirable.\nExperience in use of manual measurement devices (calipers, gauges, micrometers, and etc) highly desirable.\nUnderstanding and experience with the root cause and corrective action (RCCA) or 8D issue resolution process is highly desirable.\nStrong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with coworkers and customers.\nAdditional Information\nShift: 1st Shift - Full Time\nHours: M-F, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Possible Overtime\nEmployee benefit details\nOur goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
