You will develop and support solutions across Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Vercel, Uniform, AEM Assets, Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, CDN and cloud technologies. In partnership with product owners, architects, developers, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams, you will improve platform reliability, performance, security, maintainability, and developer experience. The role combines hands-on software engineering with platform operations, modernization, automation, and incident resolution in an agile environment.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDesign, develop, integrate, and support scalable digital experience platform capabilities across EDS, Vercel, Uniform, AEM Assets, Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, CDN, and related cloud technologies.\nImprove platform reliability, security, performance, maintainability, monitoring, and observability through sound engineering practices and automation.\nLead or contribute to incident resolution, root cause analysis, service restoration, and follow-through improvements for business-critical digital applications.\nPartner with product, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to deliver platform enhancements, integrations, cloud migration, and modernization work.\nContribute to code quality, testing, technical documentation, governance, change management, and agile delivery practices.\nWhat You Will Have:\nDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Working Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.\nEffective Communications: Working Knowledge of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.\nSoftware Development: Extensive Experience with software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.\nSoftware Integration Engineering: Working Knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design, develop and maintain interfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages.\nSoftware Product Design/Architecture: Extensive Experience of software product design; ability to convert market requirements into software product design.\nSoftware Product Technical Knowledge: Working Knowledge of technical aspects of a software product; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.\nConsiderations for Top Candidates:\nDemonstrated software development and platform engineering experience in enterprise digital environments; relevant education or equivalent practical experience is valued, with an advanced degree considered a plus rather than a prerequisite.\nStrong hands-on experience with several of the following: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Vercel, Next.js, Uniform, Akamai or another enterprise CDN, edge computing, and AWS.\nExperience operating and supporting cloud-based digital experience platforms, including monitoring, observability, automation, incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration.\nWorking knowledge of modern web development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Web Components, plus CI/CD and cloud deployment practices.\nAbility to collaborate across product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams while advancing operational best practices, governance, change management, and service excellence.\nAdditional Details:\nThis position requires the candidate to be in Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL, Denver, CO or Dallas, TX\nRelocation assistance is NOT available for this position\nVisa sponsorship is NOT available with this position.\nSummary Pay Range:\n$112,710.00 - $183,140.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
