Facilities Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as both a project management leader and technical expert, overseeing complex facility initiatives from concept through occupancy.\nProject Leadership\nLead multiple concurrent facilities capital projects ranging from renovations to large-scale new construction projects, including investments exceeding $10 million.\nDirect all phases of project delivery including planning, programming, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.\nEstablish project scope, budgets, schedules, risk mitigation plans, and performance expectations.\nDrive successful project outcomes while balancing business needs, lifecycle costs, operational impacts, and long-term value.\nTechnical Expertise\nServe as a recognized internal expert in mechanical engineering.\nProvide engineering guidance and strategic recommendations for office, warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing facilities.\nApply deep knowledge of facility systems, engineering principles, construction practices, and building operations to solve complex challenges.\nStakeholder Management\nPartner with Business Units, Real Estate, Environmental Health & Safety, Purchasing, Maintenance, Risk Management, and executive leadership.\nBuild strong relationships with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.\nCommunicate effectively with both environment.\nRequired Capabilities\nExpert-level mechanical engineering experience for corporate office and industrial facilities projects.\nExpert-level project management experience delivering complex facilities projects.\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive results without direct authority.\nExceptional communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.\nDemonstrated ability to manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk.\nExperience negotiating construction contracts and developing supplier relationships.\nBackground leading projects in manufacturing, industrial, commercial, institutional, or large corporate environments.\nExperience collaborating across diverse teams and cultures.\nProficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project or Planner.\nAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience as a consulting engineer designing corporate office and industrial facilities.\nExperience leading international facilities projects.\nKnowledge of workplace strategy, facility planning, and capital portfolio management.\nExperience implementing process improvements and organizational best practices.\nFamiliarity with sustainability, energy efficiency, and facility modernization initiatives.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution\nA minimum of 10 years of relevant facilities engineering, construction, or project management experience.\nTop Candidate Will Also Have\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) or Architect’s license.\nExperience managing large capital programs and global project portfolios.\nDemonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations.\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Irving, TX\nTravel: Moderate travel
