India\nWhat you do\nSolar Turbines is seeking a senior, hands-on Salesforce DevOps Lead/Engineer (CI/CD & Release Engineering) with a proven track record delivering enterprise-scale solutions.\nAs a hands-on DevOps lead engineer, you will own release engineering end-to-end-from Git-based source control through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and production deployments-partnering across development and business teams to deliver secure, reliable releases with urgency and accountability.\nYou’re a self-starter and team player who thrives in dynamic environments, strengthens deployment automation and quality gates, and consistently delivers high-quality, business-critical technology solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nVersion Control & BranchingOwn and manage GitHub repositories and enforce branching strategy, pull requests, merge policies, and code governance.\nStandardize reviews and quality gates to protect trunk stability and reduce release risk.\n\n Development & AutomationAutomate build, validation, and release tasks using VS Code, scripting, and Salesforce tooling (e.g., SFDX).\nBuild, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (validation, packaging, deployment, and rollback).\nReduce cycle time and defects through repeatable, automated deployment processes.\n\n Salesforce AdministrationOwn sandbox strategy (refreshes, seeding, access) and ensure environment readiness for release.\nManage Salesforce metadata/configuration changes and deployment packages across environments.\nEnforce Salesforce security model and platform best practices.\n\nRelease & Deployment ManagementLead release planning and execute deployments across dev/test/uat/prod Salesforce environments.\nCoordinate release calendars, approvals, and cutovers with cross-functional stakeholders.\nTroubleshoot deployment failures, resolve dependencies/merge conflicts, and provide post-release production support.\n\n Collaboration & LeadershipPartner with architects, developers, QA, and business teams to align delivery plans and remove blockers.\nCoach and mentor admins/developers on DevOps, source control, and release practices.\nEvaluate and recommend DevOps tools and practices, driving continuous improvements in CI/CD and release processes (reliability, deployment frequency, and auditability).\n\nWhat you will have\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field.\n9+ years hands-on Salesforce administration and environment management experience (security model, metadata/configuration, sandbox strategy/refreshes, deployment processes)\n9+ years leading Salesforce DevOps and release management (release planning, deployments, post-release support, and continuous improvement).\n8+ years managing Salesforce metadata/code in Git (branching, pull requests, merges).\n9+ years implementing CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps pipelines, scripting, and developer tooling (e.g., VS Code, Shell).\n9+ years collaborating with architects, developers, QA, and customer-facing teams to manage dependencies, resolve merge conflicts, and deliver releases.\nExperience with DevOps/release tooling such as Copado, Jenkins, Gearset, Bitbucket, SourceTree, SFDX, and ANT Migration Tool.\nMeticulous attention to detail in CI/CD, release readiness, and change control\nDemonstrated ability to catch configuration/metadata issues before production releases\nAccuracy-focused with disciplined execution across environments (dev/test/uat/prod)\n3+ years of Salesforce solution development (Apex, LWC,
