Join our team to help build a better, more sustainable world for future generations!\nRole Definition\nThe Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting the efficient flow of inbound and outbound materials through the facility by ensuring materials are received, processed, documented, stored, and shipped accurately. This role verifies shipments, maintains accurate inventory and transaction records, coordinates material movement, and ensures shipping and receiving activities are completed in accordance with established procedures.\nThe position serves as a key link between warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes by maintaining accurate system transactions, supporting inventory integrity, and resolving shipment discrepancies. This role also supports material handling, inventory control, and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a safe and compliant work environment.\nWhat You Will Do\nReceiving\nReceive and verify inbound materials and shipments for accuracy.\nValidate material quantities and support shipment documentation.\nEnsure material receipts and movements are accurately recorded in applicable inventory systems.\nIdentify receiving discrepancies involving overages, shortages, damaged material, or unidentified material and support timely resolution.\nComplete and maintain required receiving documentation and records.\nCapture and record Plan for Every Part (PFEP) data for all newly received parts.\nShipping\nVerify outbound material and shipment information for accuracy before shipment.\nEnsure required shipping documentation is complete and accurate.\nCoordinate staging and movement of material to support outbound shipments.\nSupport material verification, documentation, and shipment readiness.\nMaintain appropriate shipment records and supporting documentation.\nInventory & System Accuracy\nMaintain accurate material and inventory transactions associated with receiving and shipping activities.\nVerify material movements and shipment information against physical material.\nSupport inventory counts, reconciliation, and investigation of discrepancies associated with inbound and outbound material.\nMaintain accurate records and escalate unresolved inventory or shipment discrepancies.\nOS&D / Problem Resolution\nIdentify and document overages, shortages, damaged material, and other receiving discrepancies.\nMaintain the OS&D tracker and support discrepancy resolution.\nCommunicate material and shipment issues requiring additional investigation or corrective action.\nMaintain documentation necessary to demonstrate resolution and support audit readiness.\nSafety & Compliance\nOperate forklifts and other required material-handling equipment safely, when applicable.\nFollow required PPE, OSHA, company training, and material-handling requirements.\nMaintain shipping and receiving records consistent with applicable requirements.\nSupport established warehouse safety, 5S, and process controls.\nWhat You Will Have\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. \nPrevious experience in inventory control, warehousing, distribution center operations, material handling, or order fulfillment.\nWorking knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse processes, and material flow operations.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting operational objectives.\nProficiency with computers and common business applications.\nExperience utilizing ERP, warehouse management, or inventory systems preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete records.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze information, investigate discrepancies, and support problem-solving activities.\nGood attendance record and flexibility to work overtime as required.\nMechanical aptitude and ability to understand material handling and warehouse processes.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with warehouse, logistics, production, and cross-functional teams.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nShift: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm\nOpportunity for overtime based on business needs\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Griffin, GA\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position.\nVisa Sponsorship is not available for this position.\nSummary Pay Range:\n$21.38 - $27.31Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
