Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nJD: Python & React Web Engineer (Digital Twin)\nKey Responsibilities\nApplication Development:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python (backend) and ReactJS (frontend).\nPipeline Development:\nBuild and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support application data workflows and integrations.\nData Quality:\nImplement validation, monitoring, and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.\nAutomation:\nAutomate data ingestion, processing, and application workflows for improved efficiency and reliability.\nCollaboration:\nPartner with data engineers, frontend developers, designers, and product teams to build cohesive solutions.\nInfrastructure Support:\nWork with cloud or on-prem environments to ensure application availability, scalability, and performance.\nMonitoring & Troubleshooting:\nMonitor application performance and data pipelines, diagnose issues, and resolve them proactively.\n Required Skills\nStrong Python programming skills (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).\nSolid experience with ReactJS and modern frontend development (hooks, state management, REST APIs).\nExperience with data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.\nHands-on experience with workflow tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Luigi.\nUnderstanding of data governance and data quality practices.\nExperience building and integrating RESTful APIs.\nGood to Have\nBasic understanding of Digital Twin concepts.\nExposure to NVIDIA Omniverse or similar simulation/3D platforms.\nFamiliarity with real-time data processing (Kafka, streaming pipelines).\nExperience working with 3D data, IoT, or sensor-driven systems.\nKnowledge of USD (Universal Scene Description) or visualization pipelines.\nThis position requires working onsite five days a week.Relocation is available for this position.Posting Dates:\nSeptember 25, 2026 - September 28, 2026Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
