Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nPerformance Engineer -Exp 5-10 years\nJob Description\nManage End to End Performance Engineering/Testing Delivery for Key Projects\nRequired skills\nStrong experience in performance testing and engineering for web, mobile, and hybrid applications.\nAdvanced proficiency in JMeter (Groovy, JSR223, Web HTTP, Selenium WebDriver).\nHands-on scripting using TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright.\nExpertise in root cause analysis of performance issues and providing recommendations through proof-of-concepts.\nAbility to evaluate performance across UI, middleware, and backend layers.\nSolid experience with monitoring and profiling tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana, and other profiling utilities.\nFamiliarity with AWS Cloud monitoring (CloudWatch) and Azure/AWS key services for performance monitoring and DevOps.\nClient-side performance testing using Lighthouse and Sitespeed.\nEnd-to-end ownership of performance testing projects, including requirements gathering, test design, scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting.\nProgramming knowledge in SQL and at least one language such as Java or Python.\nAbility to adapt to evolving technologies and tools.\nDesired skills\nExperience creating Sitespeed scripts and conductingFront-end performance analysis.\nUsage of AI and ML for testing, analysis or reporting\nKnowledge of K6 with Grafana and Artillery for load testing.\nAbility to develop in-house tools and enhancements.\nBroader experience in performance engineering and additional profiling tools.\nPosting Dates:\nOctober 9, 2026 - October 15, 2026Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
