Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nJOB PURPOSE:\nThe Supply Chain Planning Analyst is responsible for packaging design and improvement under Caterpillar packaging guidelines and process, and data analysis, communicate to team members and suppliers. Generator loading design and optimize.\nThe role is also responsible for raw materials’ storage POU reviewing and improving, and material replenishment definition through data analysis, and warehouse layout designing and optimizing. This is a Supply Chain Planning position.\nJOB DUTIES:\nThe major responsibilities will be included but not limited to the items as below:\n1. Population of the Plan for Every Part:\nConfirm and optimize inbound materials’ package to make the best utilization and high efficiency of transportation.\nDesign and implement returnable packaging plan to reduce material cost.\nDetermine replenishment method and path, ensure the POU availability with high efficiency of every part.\nSet up and make continuous improvement as a process owner of PFEP process.\nDesign and optimize packaging, SWES and loading plan for IKD product.\nImprove container utilization by previous loading standard optimization.\n2. Determine & implementation of Pull Strategy\nBe responsible to evaluate and set up pull strategy.\nEnsure through pull replenishment, to reduce inventory, manage variability, optimize material flow, increase supply efficiency in whole supply chain.\nSupplier collaboration - working with suppliers to agree on replenishment method, fixed build sequence, order multiples and reduce response time.\n3. WH Layout and efficiency improvement\nOptimize WH layout and material presentation at the point of use by Auto CAD.\nImprove WH efficiency and deploy standard processes to control.\nSupport to optimize barcode labeling, ASN compliance etc.\n4. Operation daily support\nProvide PFEP functional support for NPI, ECN and deviation.\nResolve safety and / or quality issues caused by current packaging\nResolve package related issues reported by employee,3PL or carriers\n5. Other jobs assigned by supervisor\nJOB REQUIREMENTS:\n1. College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Packaging or Industrial Engineering\n2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n3. Strong understanding of common supply chain systems.\n4. Leadership skills to effectively lead supply chain improvements\n5. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization, and communication skills\n6. Good English skill on Read/Write/Speak\n7. Good skill on automatic office software Like: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, CAD etc.\nBACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:\n1. Experience in Packaging Design, Material Requirements Planning or PFEP is highly desired.\n2. Solid generator product and manufacturing knowledge\n3.
